There are so may O’s in life and business. At times it’s hard to focus. This is especially true with the BIG O.
Nothing is more distracting than the BIG O – nothing.
Your day can be going along tickety boo, then there it is – the BIG O.
It shows up when you least expect it. Yet when you need the BIG O, you simply can’t access it – neither for love nor money!
And you really can’t just go buy the BIG O. When you do, it’s not really the same.
The BIG O can mean many things, but one thing for certain is you know when you have discovered the BIG O. In fact, it becomes the stuff you speak of with joy. Often you may share your stories of the BIG O to motivate others; to cheer them on.
The Big O can cause your heart to flutter, your pulse to race, and it sets you on fire.
Just to be sure no one gets their “knickers in a knot” as my good friend would say, I am referring to Opportunity.
The kind that wakes you up at night, and creates big anticipation and desire. When was the last time you had a BIG O?
Or are you finding that now-a-days the BIG O’s seem to come and go without much hoorah?
Recently I have noticed a malaise in the way people embrace opportunity, as if to say, “do I really have to?”
The short answer is NO!
The long answer is only if you want to live the life you dream, and see success in life, love and business!
During my time in hiding as a witness, there were so many times I saw BIG O’s come and go. I was afraid to act on them. How could I? What if I was successful? Then what? So instead of doing something, I stayed the course. I was not, as they say, an early adopter. I was a maybe later…
Just for clarity, I am not speaking of the “shiny object syndrome” that entrepreneurs are at times afflicted with. That takes us off course. I am speaking of turning points in our lives. When opportunity presents itself – to grow, improve and expand – and yet we stay in the comfort zone doing things the same old way, but expecting different results.
This was its own form of self-sabotage.
YOU see, it doesn’t matter the reason WHY.
What matters is that you do what needs doing to bring back the joy, curiosity, spark, and zeal in your life. Life is not about settling for good enough or playing it safe. Safe is only an acronym for Someday All my Fantasies will become my rEalities.
To disrupt where you are, you must begin by doing something different. Declare you and your dreams important! Take new actions, empower your life, engage with like-minded communities and WANT the BIG O!
Your life and your legacy depend on this. Your family’s outcomes also depend on this. If not you stepping up for your own life and legacy, then who? Why wouldn’t that somebody be you? And if not now, when?
