YES…because it’s way more fun than NO!

Yes

Hey, do you know self-sabotage? Many entrepreneurs know her well; to me she is a she. She is cunning, powerful and undermining at times – mostly she is insecure and fears success. If I touched a nerve keep reading…

Self-sabotage is the reality, truth and often the justification as to why or why not people are where they want to be in their life, relationships and business. If where you say you want to be and where you are, continues to fall short of your goals, dreams, and aspirations, perhaps self-sabotage has moved in and taken a firm hold. Self-sabotage creates obstacles and barriers, and at times creates a cycle of lack and a no mentality.

At the risk of calling it as it is, here’s my thoughts.

First of all I will preface this by saying I love to help entrepreneurs build their businesses via breakthrough discovery, access and connections, often at the grassroots level and in a short time.

I have been doing so for the past 15 years, and each time, I marvel at the ramp up of that business.

Even more amazing, as I mention above is we do it at the grassroots level.

So here is the shortcut to doing it. Hard work, a plan, and absolute dedication to the outcome! To be blunt  – there is no shortcut! But here’s a tip. Say yes far more often than no! The secret to my success has often been linked to something I wholeheartedly said yes to –  YES I will!

A not so surprising secret is it’s work and lots of it. It’s sacrifice, and at times tough slogging, but it is worth every minute!

Building and maintaining a business are two VERY different things. I know how to build them… and I source help for maintenance and continued growth.

I too have gone from unknown business, a best kept secret, to people quoting me and sharing our language of FROCK OFF! Which BTW is not an easy feat.

That said, I did exactly what I share with others and as all time tested and proven methods do, it worked again!

In short, we built a brand in each of the cities we have done business in with two simple tools:  hard and purposeful work and social capital!

When I began building this business in 2013, I had some push back on the name, the offering, and the global vision. No matter. I was committed and dedicated to the outcome. I had a clear vision and mission to touch 13.1 million lives that I still have today. To me, it is my responsibility to serve and share – to live my legacy NOW!

So true to form I stayed the course, and soon we grew. Although we have a long way to go (globally) we have grown tremendously, and are now offering events and much more in Canada and this year, the US.  All while we continue to serve women and children who are in need!

If you aren’t where you want to be in your life, relationships and your business I ask you -straight out.Why is that? Are you dabbling in your life, relationships or business or are you all in – in everything you do? Either way, you directly impact your outcome.

Dabbling is for hobbyists. All in is for those who are committed.

If you are all in, even if your marketing is off, your branding looks interesting, or your company name is off putting, you will make it.

Passion, action, traction, and dedication are critical in your success plan.

So here are some areas to consider:

Do you have to double down on your efforts?

Are you complacent and waiting for the next big thing?

Do you suffer from SOS (Shiny Object Syndrome)?

Are you staying current and curious? There is always something new to learn.

Do you have mentors?

Do you share your message on stages…do you speak?

Are you willing to create plans that require you being all in for periods of time to achieve your desired outcome?

Or are you willing to be where you are 10,15 or even 20 years from now?

Seth Godin and Self Sabotage

What would it look like if you raised your game? Surrounded yourself with action takers and accountability partners who, at times, held your feet to the fire (only when needed)?

Imagine you did what needed doing and you were able to live the life you dream of. Just imagine that. What then? That any luxury you dreamed of was yours to have. That life was truly yours for the taking. That you could gift friends and family with their hearts desires. That you could live your legacy of giving and donating. THEN WHAT?

YOU can have these things, but it requires you front load, do the work, and keep dreaming and learning. Further, to create change and transformation in your life, relationships and business, it is imperative you surround yourself with like-minded people who are themselves doing the work. Invest in you, your life, your relationships and your business. The ROI is tenfold when you apply what you learn.

Want different results? Do something different and send self-sabotage packing! Or as we like to tell it, FROCK OFF!
