Are you a Social Entrepreneur Superhero?

Although there is no shortage of connection online, more than ever people are reporting a desire, and longing for more human contact – person to person, eyeball to eyeball.  Not just small talk, but beyond the superficial to deeper, more fulfilling connections.  And this, thank goodness, extends to business.

With access to so many choices of products and services, differentiation is critical and necessary.  Entrepreneur Superheroes continue to trend. We’ll come back to that in a bit, but just for a moment indulge me.  How can you tap into your entrepreneurial superhero greatness?  Consider this:  Spiderman and Superman both fought crime, but for different reasons.  What or who was their WHY?

Although revered and admired, Spiderman was often viewed as a vigilante, while Superman was viewed as a hero.  Spiderman attracted a different admirer than Superman, but both had a place in the marketplace. And each delivered what they promised.  Each was clear on their why and their core values.

Social Superhero

You, too, can become an Entrepreneur Superhero, but not just an ordinary superhero –  a Social Entrepreneur Superhero.  The key is being able to articulate both your why, and core values to your clients or customers, so they understand and join you in being the change.

One of our highest values at Frock Off Inc. is Social Entrepreneurship.  It drives our every move.   Also known as Social Capitalism and Social Business.  Defined largely as businesses and people creating positive social change through ongoing contribution via transactions – sales.  Contributing to change while conducting business.  But wait…

It’s more – much more than a mindset

Social Entrepreneurship does not just pay lip service to the plight of those in need, it’s a put your money where your mouth is program.  Early adopters such as Toms Shoes “Paid” (intentional pun) the way!

At Frock Off, we are committed to being the change we seek. In founding Frock Off, (based on the memoir Frock Off: Living Undisguised), I committed that all net proceeds from book sales would be donated to two very worthy causes Because I am a Girl and Little Warriors. Further, we developed a memberships program – 12 for 12 – to serve heart-centered (Ambassadors of Change) aka Entrepreneur Social Superheroes for two very distinct and important reasons.

  1. To work with local leaders who are change agents and catalysts. They have a bigger message to share, a broader market to reach and are in need of advancing and amplifying their results to serve more. Moving them from the position of Best Kept Secret to Success in Life, Love, and Business.
  2. To get books to women who are in need of hope, inspiration and future transformation.  Many of whom are currently residing in shelters.  The purpose was to demonstrate that we are not defined by our past, and that we must stand on the story, not in it.

I believe now, more than ever, that it is the heart-centered women entrepreneurs who are the Social Superheroes and influencers who will continue to be at the center of the systemic change that is needed.

That’s why with each new 12 for 12 member we donate 12 books to local shelters for 12 women – 12 lives impacted.

Our 12 for 12 Ambassadors of Change are catalysts and change agents – they are Social Entrepreneur Superheroes!  Whether they be coaches, speakers, or provide other products or services, they lead the charge.

YOU might be a Social Entrepreneur Superhero if:

  1. Given the opportunity to purchase products or services, are you more inclined to purchase from the company who is philanthropic.
  2. Your core values relate to social capitalism.
  3. You classify yourself as a Social Business.
  4. Social capitalism is part of your marketing plan, and is clearly laid out in your marketing materials.

If you agree with one or more of the above, join us to #unite against the #plight!
