Hakuna Matata Designs (HMD)  is a social enterprises that focuses on three key development issues in Africa; to supports business development through the sale of  jewelry and accessories from small artisans in Africa, to develop programs for youth based on the high numbers of youth in Africa and immense unemployment, to increase trade from Africa by distributing to retail outlets in Canada to support business development in Canada. The following programs support these objectives. Hakuna Matata Collective markets jewelry and accessories online and through a distribution model. Resilient Solutions provides counselling, coaching and training to individuals, retailers and small businesses to enhance potential both personally and professional. Social Media for Social Good (SMS) is an outsourcing program that provides employment for young women in Kenya and provides support for small business owners and specifically women businesses owners in Canada.
