What is 12 for 12?

Using a two-pronged approach, on the one side 12 for 12 is an online referral network that supports women in business. These women are heart-centered, purpose-driven entrepreneurs and small business owners. They are speakers, authors, coaches, consultants, advisors, and also those in retail and service-based industries. These people have a a product or service to share that enhances others lives in a meaningful and measurable way. We are affecting change at the grassroots level, yet it is the collective impact that is greater and more powerful than the individual.

We are a community of change agents and catalysts who empower those we serve, and each other. We are a social movement of impact with a responsibility to provide women with access, connections, collaborations, knowledge, leverage, and resources that lead to powerful results! We are dedicated to creating unity and support to move women to live the life they dream.

12 for 12 members are committed to spreading the message of hope and inspiring action for outcome-based results. Through accountability we move entrepreneurs from Best Kept Secret to SUCCESS in life love and Business.

On the other side of the prong is the heart of Frock Off Inc. – our commitment to serve women and children who are voiceless; those whose freedom has been taken through traumatic experiences and human trafficking. Everything we do at Frock Off is with the intention of giving back to these women and children.

When a new member becomes an Ambassador of Change, the impact ripples to local communities, helping touch as many peoples’ lives as possible. How did 12 for 12 get started?

12 for 12™ was born out of the need to spread the story of Frock Off: Living Undisguised. It is a story of hope and triumph against the odds; a story that is powerful, sometimes shocking, compelling and inspirational. It proves that we are unstoppable when we believe in the impossible.

12 for 12™ was initially created and founded as a means to initiate global change, but has become so much more. Today we have become a platform from which to launch women entrepreneurs. Those women, in turn, continue to pay it forward and both the movement and the momentum continue to build.

Where are the books distributed?

To women’s shelters, the Shoebox Project and distress centers. Here they empower women with the knowledge that anything is possible.

One woman in particular will remain in my heart for the REST of my life. For safety reasons she must remain anonymous. Her message to me was, “Jo, today I finished reading your book, and today for the first time in a long time I realize I too, no longer need to stay in the gutters, but instead walk on the sidewalk.” She went on to share that she has been broken for a long time. She told me that our stories were similar, and the horrible and crushing shame she had felt for years because of her past had held her back and created a life of pain. As I read her words the tears flowed freely – this is exactly why the books need to get to the shelters.
